This is a horrible thing that simply would not have occurred if we weren't there. Plus? It's not only ended the lives of the people killed, it's ruined the lives of those who took part in the initial rape and killing. Probably, these were decent people before they went to war. posted by: taralynn (reply) post date: 07.17.06 (7:40 am) This is just another example of the "collaterol damage" of war besides the thousands of Iraqi civilians being killed in the pursuit of democracy and liberation. I'm so tired of discussing the war in Iraq and now we have another war breaking out between Israel and Lebanon and the ever unstable leader of North Korea. When will people learn violence begets violence, democracies can not be forced and hatred fuels more hatred? When will it all end? |
