South Park Cartoon Played for Saddam
08.31.06 (8:17 am)   [edit]

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being made to watch his appearance in cult cartoon South Park while he is behind bars.  The deposed leader on trial in Iraq was featured in the movie spin-off as the lover of the devil. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut featured Hussein and Satan attempting to take over the world together.  Speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said US Marines guarding the former dictator during his trial for genocide were making him watch the movie "repeatedly".

Now you just get to visualize just how bad Saddam has it in prison.  They are letting him watch South Park cartoons.  It's a good thing the world is seeing justice for what this man did to all those innocent people of Iraq.  I applaud you the court and prison system for a job well done.

Just sounds like Matt and Trey jerking everybody's chain again to me. They'll say *anything*.

Waiting for the outrage from the ACLU and Amnasty Intl. in:

You make a real good point. The court systems over there are completely messed up and many people will never see the justice they deserve.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

*shrugs* just my opinion.
