Bin Laden's Death Cannot Be Confirmed
09.25.06 (11:47 am)   [edit]

Saudi Arabia said it had no evidence that Osama bin Laden had died, shedding further doubt on a secret document leaked in France that said Saudi secret services believed he had died last month.  Time magazine separately posted an article on its Web site citing an unidentified Saudi source, who claimed bin Laden was stricken with a water-borne disease and may already be dead.  French President Jacques Chirac told reporters bin Laden's death "has not been confirmed in any way whatsoever and so I have no comment to make" and that he was surprised a confidential note had been published.

I had a feeling that this was just a rumor.  I think more needs to be done to capture Osama bin Laden.  This administration must have forgotten who exactly is responsible for the 9/11 attacks on our country.  I don't understand why they are so hell bent on liberating Iraq and not trying to get the guy responsible for the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.  It is like this administration doesn't even care if bin Laden is running around free.

In a recent interview with former President Bill Clinton, he said it best when he said that at least he was trying to catch bin Laden.  This is however more than this administration can say about their efforts.  Bin Laden is a dangerous man that needs to be put to justice for what he did to our country, and I absolutely hate the way the Bush administration is handling it.  It surprises me that after 5 years now that the most notorious terrorist of our time can still be wondering around at his leasure alluring U.S. searches.

In my opinion, this needs to be enphasized a little bit more.  This is a real disgrace to our country that we cannot capture the person responsible for our nations September 11th attacks.  To me, the President's sole mission would want to be to capture this man and bring him to justice.  For some reason, this isn't the case ,and he is more worried about what is going on in Iraq than what really needs to be done with our nation.

I guess I've really been out of the loop; I had not heard this rumor. Damn, too much studying, I need to get back to watching the evening news and listening to my left talk radio... maybe someday soon. Right now it's just about tort, criminal, and con law. Just wanted to stop by and say hi! Keep up the good work!

Yeah supposedly bin Laden had died from some sort of disease. Of course this is only a rumor and wishful thinking by our government.

Its always nice to have a comment from you. Your schedule must be just like mine. Only enough time to make a quick post, check a few other blogs and return to the abundance of school work.

Midterms are coming up soon you can't forget about that! Al Franken and Ed Shultz say they miss you listening in though lol. Talk to you later.
