There needs to be restrictions of some of your decisions to keep the world safe. Perhaps I'm the one who's nuts? posted by: tfruge1 (reply) post date: 10.26.06 (8:20 am) Reply to: appletree I try appletree. Thanks for the comment. posted by: jesusisangry (reply) post date: 10.27.06 (12:41 am) Well, this is interesting. posted by: commontater (reply) post date: 10.29.06 (11:39 pm) Ahh..so your previous post was a trick question, eh, Fruge? LOL I guess I'm not an absolutist in regard to choice then. I don't like the idea of governors on cars. I do think drunks should not drive and ought to spend the night in the pokey if caught doing so. Rack up a few infractions, and the drunk forfeits his license for a period of time. If a drunk kills someone he pays the price as far as I'm concerned. I don't like to encounter smokers in public restaurants although I'm an ex-smoker. I can't stand smoke in my face and can't understand my inconsideration of this while I smoked. My baaaad. I believe it's a woman's right to choose. I do believe there are some bad habits displayed publicly that affect the common good and don't sanction them. Some examples would be using cuss words in general conversation, hocking and spitting on the sidewalk, sneezing & coughing without covering the mouth, picking your *ss or nose, or checking to see if your genitals are still attached. ;> posted by: tfruge1 (reply) post date: 10.30.06 (6:15 am) Reply to: commontater Very entertaining responce Tater but I would have to agree with everything you said. I'm glad to know that someone here can understand where I'm coming from. |
