Friggin' comedy, man! posted by: VOR (reply) post date: 11.21.06 (10:32 am) I think it's important for everyone to learn from Iraq. Now, I'm going to preface this by saying that Saddam was funding suicide bombers, throwing weapons inspectors out of his country and consistently making it very apparent that he didn't want the UN in there looking for evidence of his demolishment of the weapons. Fact is though, everyone thought he had the weapons. The intelligence committee thought so too and they saw the same intelligence that the administration saw. So, EVERYONE should learn from mistakes that were made leading up to the war in Iraq. Do you have a link to the story that states that the White House overlooked this? That would be a good thing to see. I can find links stating that aliens are parked outside of a trailer park in Oklahoma but if it's from some partisan blog you have to look at it with a grain of salt. All I know is that Iran has stated that they have a nuclear program. They say that it's for peaceful reasons and purposes and yet they continue to say that Israel's demise is coming. If you think that Iran or Syria or other countries in that region can be trusted with Nuclear weapons, then you are making a huge mistake. |
